India's Premier Padel Platform
One tour. Every court that matters.
The Indian Padel Tour brings together the country's finest players, its fastest-rising talent, and the communities driving padel forward, all on a single, prestigious competitive stage. Every tournament is built to the same standard: world-class courts, serious competition, and a stage worthy of the sport's growth in India.
This is more than a tournament series. It's a pursuit of excellence, a platform where athletes compete at the highest level, where the next generation finds something to chase, and where the future of Indian padel is being shaped, match by match.
Every point on this tour means something. The ranking system exists to reward the players showing up, competing, and performing, tournament after tournament.
What You'll Find in This Guide
Ranking Points
How many points are on offer at every stage of a City Open or Grand Slam, across the Advanced, Intermediate, and Beginner categories.
Defending Points
How the new Defending Points System works, why it was introduced, and what it means for your ranking going forward.
Ranking Points
Every match played is a step toward the top. Here's exactly what's on the table.
Points are awarded by how far you go in a tournament, and scaled by the level of the event. A Grand Slam carries double the points of a City Open at every stage, and every category, from Beginner to Advanced, has its own table.
| Tournament | W | R | SF | QF | R16 |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| City Open | 300 | 180 | 108 | 54 | 27 |
| Grand Slam | 600 | 360 | 216 | 108 | 54 |
Ranking points for the Men's 40+ category follow the Advanced category table above.
| Tournament | W | R | SF | QF | R16 |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| City Open | 50 | 30 | 18 | 9 | 5 |
| Grand Slam | 100 | 60 | 36 | 18 | 9 |
| Tournament | W | R | SF | QF | R16 |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| City Open | 25 | 15 | 9 | 5 | 3 |
| Grand Slam | 50 | 30 | 18 | 9 | 5 |

A New Era of IPT Rankings
A ranking system designed to reward consistent performance, season after season.
Why the Change?
As the Indian Padel Tour continues to grow, so should the way rankings are measured. The Defending Points System ensures rankings reflect how you're performing today, not just what you achieved in the past. Every tournament becomes another opportunity to strengthen your ranking.
What Are Defending Points?
Every ranking point you earn stays on your profile for 12 months. When that tournament comes around again the following year, those points are up for defence.
Play. Perform. Defend. Repeat.
See It in Action
Imagine you earn 500 ranking points at Mumbai City Open 2026. Those 500 points stay on your ranking for the next 12 months. When Mumbai City Open returns in 2027, those are the points you'll be defending.
